JAMES F. DEVINE, Managing Partner, is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Jim has been involved in the successful litigation of workers' compensation cases since 1993. His expertise extends to include the interplay between the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and employment law concerns surrounding discipline and discharge and drug and alcohol abuse as they impact workers' compensation claims. This broad range of experience in workers' compensation and employment issues enables him to provide his clients with a most effective analysis of the liability risks and costs associated with their workers' compensation claims.

Jim is an active member of the Lancaster Bar Association, having served as chairman to the workers' compensation section. In addition, he is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations as well as various trial lawyer associations. He is a frequent lecturer for numerous organizations. At the request of his clients, Jim also presents seminars on specific workers' compensation and employment law issues to specific human resource organizations and provides in-house training for insurance carriers and employers. Jim balances his aggressive pursuit of his clients' legal interest with a strong commitment to family and community. He has volunteered his services to both church and youth activity leagues. ANNE L. COOPER is a native of Lancaster County. She graduated with honors from Shippensburg University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She first worked for the Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency, investigating child abuse reports and subsequently became involved with adolescents. Anne graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. Following graduation, she worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, then serving as a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County. Since 1985, Anne has been in private practice. Prior to joining Devine Law Offices, LLC, she was a shareholder in the firm of Geisenberger & Cooper, P.C. for fifteen (15) years. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Lancaster County for eight (8) years prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, including a first degree murder case. Anne is a member of the Lancaster and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District and the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. Since 1992, Anne has represented the Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency as one of its solicitors. She practices primarily in the areas of family law, Social Security Disability, and wills and estates.

Anne lives in Lancaster County with her husband, William W. Brown, Jr., and their two daughters, Catherine Ting Brown and Elizabeth Yan Brown. Anne's interests include skiing, bicycling with her family, reading, and playing the piano. Anne has served on various Boards including the Board of Directors of Parents Anonymous, the Mental Health Association in Lancaster County, and the Lancaster Ski Club. HANNA-AURELIA DUNLAP is a native of Poland and a naturalized US citizen. Born and raised behind the Iron Curtain, Hanna escaped the political oppression, lived abroad and traveled extensively before she settled in the US. Hanna earned her master's degree in linguistics (with high honors) from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Hanna is fluent in Polish and proficient in German and Russian. She taught English as a second language and technical English in the area of helicopter mechanics for the Imperial Iranian Air Force during the reign of the last Shah. In 1990, Hanna received her law degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, Delaware, and passed the Pennsylvania bar. She has practiced in the areas of contract law, commercial and construction litigation, mechanics' lien and bond law, creditors' rights and business law, banking law, as well as consumer law. She taught secured transactions in the American Banking Institute course for bankers and has given a number of presentations on various legal topics to professional, business and civic groups in Lancaster and elsewhere.

Hanna has lived in Lancaster since 1983; has a son, Jed, and twin grandchildren, Maja and Lars. Hanna's interests include classical music, writing, people and cultures, religions and languages, world history and travel, cooking, gardening, motorcycling and Arctic dog sledding, to name just a few. CHRISTOPHER SCOTT joined Devine Law Offices, LLC in September, 2007. He focuses his practice on workers' compensation law as well as a sub-speciality in estate planning/administration. Chris received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in Easton, PA and his Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA. Chris is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Middle District Court of Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania and Lancaster Bar Associations and is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division within each. Chris hopes to maintain an active presence in the Lancaster community through volunteer endeavors. Outside the office, Chris enjoys golfing, biking, fitness, and sports. KIRK L. WOLGEMUTH, attorney, is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and Temple University School of Law. He has been practicing since 1982 in employment law, worker's compensation, personal injury, and long-term disability litigation. Kirk joined Devine Law Offices in 2008 after working at Stevens & Lee for approximately twenty-three years.

Kirk is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in the Civil Litigation section and Worker's Compensation section. He was also a founding member of the National Worker's Compensation Defense Network.
